What size brochures & booklets are available?

Our brochures and booklets are available in A4, A5 and A6 Sizes.

A4 is 210mm x 297mm.

A5 is 148.5mm x 210mm.

A6 is 105mm x 148.5mm

What does pp mean?

‘pp’ stands for printed pages. When printing booklets and brochures often there will be two pages per printed piece of paper as the paper will be folded in half. So as an example, 12pp will mean 6 pieces of paper.

What’s the difference between a booklet and a brochure?

There’s no real difference, it’s more down to what different people call them. Some people consider booklets to be smaller with fewer pages while brochures tend to be more substantial, featuring more pages. We use both words so don’t worry about getting confused.

Why does the page count go up in fours?

This is due to how we print the pages. Each printed page is folded in half and therefore there are 2 “inside” pages (one left and one right) and 2 “outside” pages on the reverse of the paper. The pages are bound in the middle to create the brochure or booklet.

What’s the minimum order quantity of brochures or booklets?

Depending on the type of booklet or brochure you’re ordering there is an MOQ (Minimum Order Quantity). See the minimum option when ordering online from the drop-down menu or if you’re unsure please contact us for information.

What paper thickness is best?

This is entirely down to you and potentially the use of the booklet/brochure. If it’s designed to be thrown away, then lightweight paper might be a better option as this will be cheaper to produce. If it’s a brochure designed to be kept or used for marketing purposes, then a thicker paper would be better so it lasts longer. Our team are on hand to advise if required so don’t hesitate to call.

What does two wire stitched?

This refers to the way we attach the booklets/brochures together. No staples are involved, and the booklets are “stitched” together with wire, similar to the way a sewing machine works. This is a durable method and helps keep the booklet together.
